National Bankshares, Inc. Announces Promotion of Lora Jones to Corporate Analysis Officer

Blacksburg, Virginia, August 23, 2011 – James G. Rakes, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of National Bankshares, Inc., is pleased to announce the promotion of Lora Jones to Corporate Analysis Officer.

Mrs. Jones is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of Virginia Tech where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and a Master’s Degree in Accounting and Information Systems. She joined National Bankshares, Inc. in 2010 as a Corporate Analyst. Prior to joining Bankshares, Mrs. Jones was a Supervisory Senior Accountant at Yount, Hyde, and Barbour, P.C. in Winchester, Virginia.

Mrs. Jones currently resides in Pembroke, Virginia with her husband.
