Joseph W. Beury Joins National Bank

James G. Rakes, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of National Bank, is pleased to welcome Joseph W. Beury as Senior Vice President and Trust Officer.

Mr. Beury brings 26 years of trust and wealth management experience to his new position. Prior to joining National Bank he led the wealth management departments at a community bank and a small regional bank. He has also managed trust and wealth management departments for large regional and large national banks. Mr. Beury has a Bachelors Degree in Economics from Brown University and a M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business.

A native of Charleston, West Virginia, Mr. Beury lives in Roanoke with his wife Linda and daughters Kathy and Jennifer. He is a member of the Roanoke Valley and New River Valley Estate Planning Councils and a past president of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the New River Valley.
