Jon Cornett

As a Business Development Officer for National Bank of Blacksburg, I work with customers to understand their operations from a money management standpoint, and to learn what their short-term and long-term goals are and how we can work together to help accomplish them. This unique approach allows my team to tailor specific solutions to each customer, which drives growth and efficiency. I am very passionate about providing the best customer experience and ensuring that our customers' finances are handled as if they were my own.

I grew up in Martinsville, Virginia, prior to moving to the Roanoke Valley 16 years ago. After moving to Roanoke, I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Averett University and begun my banking career, spending the first part of my career in branch/contact center banking and the last 8 years I have spent working in Commercial Banking. My family has a long history full of bankers, including my Mom. When I am not working at National Bank, you can typically find me traveling (Scotland is one of my favorite places), serving at my church, or spending time with my husband Patrick and our adorable 4-year-old Goldendoodle CoCo Louise.
