With a distinguished career spanning four decades, Mark Strosnider brings deep industry expertise and a strong commitment to community banking to his role at The National Bank of Blacksburg. “Being part of a customer’s financial journey over time is both meaningful and rewarding,” Mark said.
Born in Shenandoah Valley and raised in Strasburg, Virginia, Mark earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech in 1986. He further strengthened his professional knowledge by graduating from the Virginia Bankers Association School of Bank Management and the American Bankers Association's Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
Mark and his wife have built a large and close-knit family, with four children and seven grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, staying active, and serving on several nonprofit boards throughout the Lynchburg area.
