Chelsea Grandfield Leads Regional Team at National Bank of Blacksburg

Chelsea Grandfield

National Bank is pleased to announce that Chelsea Grandfield has been promoted to Assistant Vice President/Regional Manager, overseeing the bank’s Roanoke, Lynchburg, Waynesboro, and Staunton branches.

A proud Radford University graduate, Chelsea earned her bachelor’s degree in business marketing ahead of schedule and began her journey with National Bank more than a decade ago as a management trainee. Since then, her dedication, leadership, and passion for community banking have guided her steady growth within the organization.  Chelsea played a key role in the opening of National Bank’s Roanoke Branch in March 2025 and is also a graduate of the Virginia Bankers Association School of Bank Management at the University of Virginia. She’s known for being both customer-focused and results-driven, with a strong belief in building genuine relationships with clients, colleagues, and community partners.

“What I love most about community banking is the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives,” Chelsea said. “Whether it’s helping a family buy their first home, first car or supporting a local business, it’s rewarding to be part of their success.”

Originally from Connecticut, Chelsea found her home in the Roanoke Valley, where she and her family enjoy the area’s welcoming spirit and outdoor beauty. Outside of work, she’s an avid CrossFit enthusiast, drawing energy and balance from her workouts while juggling her roles as a wife, mom, and pet lover. When she’s not in the gym or at the office, you’ll likely find her hiking, off-roading, or traveling with her family to explore new places and make lasting memories.
