Lori Baker-Lloyd Promoted to Senior Vice President

Lori Baker-LloydThe National Bank of Blacksburg (“National Bank”) is pleased to announce that Lori Baker-Lloyd has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Administration & Corporate Secretary. Ms. Baker-Lloyd oversees the bank’s Human Resources operations and Marketing department, with a focus on talent management and organizational effectiveness.

Ms. Baker-Lloyd earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at Howard University and holds a master’s degree in strategic communication and leadership from Seton Hall University. She brings extensive organizational experience to her position, having served in key roles with local, regional, and global organizations in the financial services, education, entertainment, and non-profit industries.
 
Ms. Baker-Lloyd grew up in Roanoke, Virginia, and went on to live and work in Washington, D.C., New York City, Atlanta, Georgia, and Bermuda, where she spent most of her career. She currently serves as the Board Vice President of Blue Ridge Literacy and is a Board Member of United Way of the Blue Ridge. She is a member of the Roanoke Kiwanis Club, an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and is Co-Chair of the Pastor Search Committee at Loudon Avenue Christian Church.
 
Ms. Baker-Lloyd lives in Roanoke, Virginia, with her husband Colin. Their son, Elijah, is an incoming MBA graduate at Purdue University and lives in Falls Church, Virginia. Lori enjoys travel, reading, cooking, exercise, family get-togethers, and is an avid supporter of the arts.
