National Bankshares, Inc. Promotes Jeff Tickle to Executive Vice President & Chief Banking Officer

National Bankshares, Inc., parent company of The National Bank of Blacksburg, is pleased to announce the promotion of Jeff Tickle to Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer. Mr. Tickle joined the company as a Management Trainee in 1987 and upon promotion to Branch Manager oversaw the development of the bank’s Market Place office in Christiansburg in 1990. In recent years Mr. Tickle served as Senior Vice President and Regional Manager operating from the bank’s Pearisburg, Virginia office.

Mr. Tickle is a native of Giles County and a graduate of Bluefield College and the Virginia School of Bank Management at the University of Virginia. He is a past Board Member of the Giles County Christian Mission and the United Fund of Giles County. Mr. Tickle is currently a member of Riverview Baptist Church. He lives in Pembroke with his wife, Kathryn, and the couple have an adult daughter, Adriana.
