National Bank Helps Holiday Wishes Come True

Holiday wishes do come true with a little help from the National Bank employees who participated in this year’s Salvation Army Angel Tree gift giving program.

At the beginning of every holiday season the Salvation Army of the New River Valley asks individuals and businesses throughout the area to adopt an "Angel" by purchasing gifts for local children in need. The program serves Floyd, Giles, Montgomery and Pulaski Counties as well as the City of Radford.

"We were able to help well over thirty local children have a very special holiday this year," commented James G. Rakes., Chairman, President and CEO of National Bank. "We are pleased to be a part of this wonderful program once again this year."

National Bank employees have been participating to the Salvation Army Angel Tree program for more than a decade. In addition to the gifts collected, the bank made a monetary contribution to support the programs of the Salvation Army.
